Comments Policy

We created Regeneration in order to promote an open, honest discussion about the nonprofit sector. In keeping with this spirit, we want to be clear with our readers about how we will approach comments and editing on this blog. Being relatively new to the blogosphere, we expect that this policy will need to be reviewed and updated with a fair degree of frequency. We would love to receive comments on our comments policy!

Comments Policy:

We recognize and expect that there will be a variety of opinions about our blog postings and we encourage our readers to express those opinions. In other words, we will not edit or delete a comment simply because it hurts our feelings.

Having said that, there are few things that we will not tolerate. These include comments that are totally off-topic, straight-up disrespectful, or those that include profanity, offensive statements, illegal content, and/or excessive or inappropriate links. We will delete these comments along with any and all spam.

We will review all comments before they are posted and reserve the right to delete comments for reasons we deem appropriate. As a tip, please keep your comments short (under 200 words), coherent, and grammatically correct. Longer comments and/or those with grammatical or spelling errors are more likely to be deleted at the discretion of the moderator.

As a final word, your comments are your own and you are responsible for them. When you post to this blog, you do grant us the right, in perpetuity, to use, alter, and/or display them however we see fit.
